LIVING THE DREAM

I have loved music for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I would sit by my record player and play my favorite songs over and over and over. Music always took me to another place where my imagination could run free and I could dance.

I took my dings early on when I attempted to write music and my songs were not received well by the neighborhood boys. Back then, that really crushed me although I never lost my love for music. Just ask the guys in my college dorm about how they would hide my albums because I would play the same song over and over and over again…..sound familiar.

Fast forward to now. I have finished building out my studio and am in the middle of studio engineering school and I am entrenched with music and LOVING it. I have written 7 new songs and with the help of Band X (Clarke, Randy, John, and Russell) they are coming to life. I am also working with the guys to help other other artist create their music. Now I have a new talent to add to the pool….I can record it and help them actually manifest their dreams into reality…..how do I know …..I am my own guinea pig…I am doing that right now.

My new CD will be called Flying Blind and it will be all songs that I have written, produced, engineered and recorded……with some help of my friends. I wake up with a smile on my face and I go to bed with a smile on my face. It is the first time in my life that all my skills are coming together to create the dream that I am living.

I am so grateful and I realize that the reason I am living my dream is because I accept the good in me and am willing to stand up and be heard. It takes courage to be creative and to follow our dreams….so to whoever reads this……go for it……it’s worth it.
